Francesca will give an open lecture about her expertise in circular design and ecosystems within local examples from Italian fashion industry and local communities/areas, for example Prato Green District etc.

Francesca currently works as a freelance civil engineer and safety manager and has taught “Technological Innovation” at the ISIA in Florence since 2010 in
product specialization and “Technology of materials and production” at the triennial. She has taught “Sustainability of Environmental and Civil System” at the Syracuse University in Florence since 2014, in the course of Engineering.

She is one of the Italian expert in sustainability and innovation in materials, with several years of research about Bamboo and its engineering.
